Hello, Jason Om with the top stories on ABC News. Playboy magazine founder, Hugh Hefner has died at the age of 91. He launched Playboy in 1953 and it became one of the largest selling men's magazines in the world. The American icon passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. The prime minister Malcolm Turnbull and the federal attorney-general George Brandis have defended US rapper Macklemore's performance at the NRL Grand Final. The former prime minister Tony Abbott says the US star is politicising the event by performing the song "Same Love", which promotes same-sex marriage. Senator Brandis argues it's not unusual for headline acts to play their most popular hits at events. Nutrition blogger Belle Gibson has been ordered to pay a fine of more than $400 000 for misleading and deceptive conduct. Gibson had claimed she had brain cancer and cured herself through alternative therapies and nutrition. And Australian Ashleigh Barty has upset the third seed Karolina Pliskova in the quarter-finals of the WuHan Open in China. Barty was victorious four-six, seven-six, seven-six. It's the third match in a row where the 21 year old has beaten a player ranked in the top 20. And those are the latest headlines from ABC News. 来自:VOA英语网 文章地址: http://www.tingvoa.com/17/10/501285.html
